Lately I have been feeling a bit out of sorts and having trouble finding the positive in things. So when I received the Live Happy magazine, the timing could not have been better! This positivity based magazine brings the world news and articles about living happy lives! The upbeat articles share things like how being happier leads to longer (and healthier!) lives, tips on how to be happier and even bits of motivation among readers.
I really loved how Live Happy took stories that many people could take to be sad and showed the positive side – another view to look at something and allow you to be happier. After reading one such article in Live Happy, I put this into practice at the grocery store. I was at the customer service desk making an adjustment after I had forgotten to use my savings card and an older gentleman was standing in the line next to that area and was desperately looking through his pockets to find change to pay for a few bananas and a loaf of bread. He was about to put the bananas back when I decided to take heart the advice and live happier – to live more positively. So I walked over, smiled and asked him to pass in on in some way while sliding my debit card for his purchase. He gave me the warmest smile and a genuine “thank you” while grabbing his bag and leaving the store. I have to say, I felt better in that moment, that I had in weeks. It was in that moment, that I realized that I control my happy and that I can find it again. The Living Happy magazine was a huge source of inspiration to refinding this in my life – I will definitely be checking it out again and also looking for the book recommendations within this magazine!
If you need to find (or refind, like me!) happiness in your life, I recommend picking up a copy of Live Happy magazine to kick start that journey. Learn more about Live Happy magazine by following them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!
