Simply 7 Chips are Simply Delicious

I absolutely love a good salty snack, the problem is, I may love them a little too much and then end up with a ton of snack guilt because I just ate a whole bag of empty calories!  But that is a thing of the past now that I have discovered Simply 7.  Simply 7 makes several lines of chips made from unexpected and nutrient-filled ingredients such as pomegranates, chickpeas and lentils!  I received an assortment of these chips in exchange for my honest opinion.

What did I think?

I love the Simply 7 core company standards and how that shines through in their products.  Simply 7 promises seven simple things: No trans fat or cholesterol, no artificial colors or flavors, no additives or preservatives, no gluten, all natural recipes, simple ingredients and to be simply delicious.  What a great core to build a business on and each bag of their Simply 7 chips represents this whole-heartedly.  Simply 7 offers four types of unique chip ‘styles’: hummus, lentil, pomegranate and their new quinoa chips.  I received chips from their hummus, lentil and pomegranate lines.

Lentil Chips: These chips come in four delicious and flavorful flavors: creamy dill, sea salt, jalapeno and bruschetta.  The lentil chips are hearty and are the perfect delivery system for a dip.  I use the jalapeno lentil chips with a black bean guacamole that I made and they were a huge hit!  I loved that we were eating healthier chips and not filling up on GMO’s and other chemically-laden ingredients.

Pomegranate Chips:  These were the overall family favorite.  Available in three wonderful flavors: sea salt, black pepper and white cheddar; the pomegranate chips are an unexpected delight.  At first, we were very cautious – I mean, who thinks of pomegranates when you are thinking about a delicious and salty-snack style treat?  I certainly did not, but I will now!  The white cheddar pomegranate chips were addicting, yet filling, which was nice since you ate less!

Hummus Chips:  Now these were definitely my personal favorite.  Available in four tasty flavors: sea salt, roasted red pepper,  spicy chili pepper and tomato basil – you cannot get enough of these!  Similar to the lentil chips, these chips made from chickpea flour are hearty enough for dipping, but incredible on their own.  The roasted red pepper flavor was a great afternoon pick-me-up snack that kept me satisfied hunger-wise, but wanting more since they tasted so great!

The Verdict
